#Spring0yentrip The Galata Tower, towering over the historic streets of Istanbul, is one of the city's iconic landmarks. It features a heavy stone exterior and a conical roof, making it easy to spot from afar. The view of the Galata Tower from Galata Bridge in the evening is also amazing. The Galata Tower is about 67 meters tall, and there is an observation deck on the top floor where you can see the Bosphorus, the old city, the Golden Horn, the Blue Mosque, and even Hagia Sophia! It was originally a watchtower built by the Genoese in the 14th century, and has played various roles throughout its long history. Historic Istanbul is really fun ❤️🔥 Finally, chocolate cheesecake, which has recently become popular among young people. Apparently it originates near the Galata Tower.
