Carloway Broch is located above Loch an Duin on a rocky knoll in a good defensive position. It is 36 kilometers 36 minutes drive from Stornoway harbour or bus W2 with 6 minutes of walk. The Carloway Broch is one of the best preserved in the Hebrides that date back over 2000 years. It is approximately 9 metres high and 15 metres diameter.
