Kings cave and dinosaur print hike

Started in the King's cave car park on a wet and rainy day , lots of tree cover though with the big pine trees on the way to the kings caves . The descent down to the caves can be very slippery on a wet day and is something to look out for, wearing appropriate foot wear recommended . Once down on the coast the kings cave is a short walk and you cannot miss the giant gate at the entrance . There are no amenities or toilets but the cave is a good spot to stop for lunch or to take cover from the bad weather . You can return to the car park or continue walking up the coast Along the Arran coastal trail . On the way there is also a dinosaur hand print in a stone located down a side path . If you choose to continue ,be aware the path gets much more difficult and you must climb over many rocks to proceed but the views are worth it . We finished the walk around the golf course and ended up in Blackwaterfoot . Total duration of hike about 3-4 hours while taking our time . Great walk but recommend to go in nice weather conditions .
