Having previously enjoyed the flowers at Haedoji Park, I recently visited Michuhol Park, and it absolutely confirms Songdo's appeal as a great spot for leisurely walks and even dates. (Though, as the reviewer humorously notes, they're still waiting for a girlfriend to enjoy it with!) Highlights of Michuhol Park: Daraewon (다래원): Located within Michuhol Park, this area (Incheon, Yeonsu-gu, Songdo-dong) is mentioned, suggesting a specific, perhaps scenic, section of the park. Ecological Garden (생태마당) & Giant Playground: This area (23 Technopark-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon) is a major draw, especially for families. It features a huge playground where children can run wild and tents can be set up. It's clearly a popular picnic spot, with many families and friends enjoying the abundant shade by spreading out their mats. The park management here is excellent, keeping the area very clean. Barefoot Hwangto Path: Between the Ecological Garden and the playground, you'll find a path where you can walk barefoot on red clay (Hwangto). This is a fantastic wellness feature, and given it's Songdo, the maintenance is pristine. Remember to bring a towel, as there's a foot-washing station available! This is a great way to boost your health and feel refreshed. Inhwau-ru (인화루): Another notable spot within the park, located at 59 Haesong-ro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. This suggests a traditional pavilion or scenic overlook, adding to the park's charm. Overall Impression: Michuhol Park is an impressive and well-maintained green space. It offers a diverse range of activities, from active play areas for kids to serene spots for relaxation and health-focused amenities like the barefoot path. The ample shade makes it comfortable even on sunny days, and it's clear why it's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
