First, let's start with the white jjajang. Yes, that looks familiar, right? It's porridge. No, it definitely tastes like jjajang, but because it looks like that, it's almost like vegetable porridge. I think they could sell it as jjajang porridge anywhere. Of course, it tastes a little more like jjajang than regular jjajang. Jjajang jjajang. I immediately tried the white jjambbong. I can describe it in one word: "non-spicy jjambbong." So, if you're used to the spicy flavor of jjambbong, you might find the mild texture and flavor a bit off-putting. For a casual eater like me, I think I could have just the jjambbong once and the non-spicy(?) jjambbong the next time. It's loaded with ingredients and the broth is delicious, making it a great hangover cure. Lastly, I had the dumplings as a side dish. They're written as "xiaolongbao" in Chinese, but I can't tell, and the price is outrageous. Four for 8,000 won, one for 2,000 won. But is it delicious? The texture is incredible. That unique, juicy flavor is just right. Considering the preparation and ingredients, it's understandable why it's so expensive, but four bites will wipe out a whole bowl of soup. Hmm, yes.
