From there, you need to go to Ashibe Port to visit Iki Island and enter Tsushima on the same day. It takes about an hour to get from Ashibe Port to Izuhara Port on Tsushima by jetfoil. While walking around before departure, I discovered a bronze statue in front of the Ashibe Port Ferry Terminal 💡 This is a bronze statue of "Young mounted warrior Shoni Suketoki", who fought back when the Mongol Eastern Army attacked Iki. It was erected as part of the 720th anniversary of the Mongol Invasions.
