The Unjusa 운주사

#koreatrip Unjusa temple where the statue of Buddha is lying down (Wabul), resting on its side. Intricate design and really interesting. 9-story pagodas were exceptional- collected. Unjusa is among my favorite temples in the South Jeollla province.It's the only temple to have really old (sec.VII~VIII) stone Buddha statues and pagodas. They are spread on the sourrounding mountains and you need to climb a little to see some of them.
