Kangjiashimenzi Petroglyphs: Unexpected Beauty Along S101

Driving along S101, we stopped at the Kangjiashimenzi Petroglyphs in Hutubi County, Xinjiang. We didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. We parked at the ticket office and walked to the rock wall. The 4 km journey was a visual feast. The scenery was picturesque, and every step felt like walking into a painting. Under the blue sky, the mountains met the vast land, and the golden grass swayed in the breeze, telling stories of time. We stopped to take photos, capturing beautiful moments, and didn't feel tired at all. You can also drive directly to the rock wall. From there, climb a long staircase to see the mysterious and ancient petroglyphs. These petroglyphs seem to be messengers from the past, silently watching every visitor. The restroom next to the ticket office also has a unique view. In the sunlight, the simple building blends with the surroundings, creating a picture full of life. This seemingly inconspicuous corner shows unique charm through the lens. Kangjiashimenzi Petroglyphs may not be a famous attraction, but it's like a pearl on the roadside of S101, shining with its own light. For every traveler passing by, spending some time here to walk and take photos will make this unexpected beauty a memorable part of the journey.
