Zhengzhou day trips: fun and delicious!

Great places to visit around Zhengzhou! Oh my! So good! [Tongmeng Ancient Town] is pretty good. It's easy to drive from Zhengzhou. Free entry, no ticket required. Parking is cheap. The town is small but great for kids. There is a street full of delicious food! I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could try everything... There are also some handmade shops worth visiting and a playground for kids. If you have kids, you can come early with friends and let them play all day. We caught the iron flower show at 7:30 pm this month. It was short but beautiful! You can check the official account of Tongmeng Ancient Town for the iron flower show schedule! (Not every day) We ate: fried dough twists, fried dough leaves, handmade yogurt, handmade spicy noodles, egg-filled fried dough sticks, mutton blood soup, cold steamed rice noodles, red bean paste glutinous rice rolls, dried plum vegetable biscuits, Su Yumei cheese, handmade chili oil, handmade beef sauce (CNY 50 for two bottles, great with bread!)... All delicious... There were many snacks, but I was too full. I'll try more next time.
