I got up at 7:30 in the morning and arrived at Xingyun South Street Station around 8:10 to take the bus. The fare to the Hanging Temple is 25 yuan, and to Hengshan is 30 yuan. The 901-1 bus goes to Hunyuan Bus Station, which takes about 1.5 hours. After getting off, you will be notified to change to another bus to continue to the entrance of the scenic area. Hengshan Scenic Area 10:00-13:00 If you want to climb the mountain, I recommend taking the shuttle bus (13 yuan/person) to the halfway point, climbing to the top, and then taking the cable car down (70 yuan/person). This way, you can climb up without getting too tired. All these tickets can be bought at the window. I climbed for 1.5 hours to reach the top, and my legs were shaking on the way down, I really couldn't walk anymore. The cable car offers a nice view and the ride is long enough. Hengshan Scenic Area - Hanging Temple 13:00-14:50 by taxi (I spent about eight or nine yuan) Entering the Hanging Temple costs 15 yuan, and climbing it costs 100 yuan. If you want to climb, make sure to go early to queue. I only chose to enter the park and take photos. Hanging Temple - Datong Ancient City Here, I took the scenic area shuttle bus, 39 yuan per person, directly back to Pingyang Square in Datong Ancient City.
