How to spend the May Day holiday in Xinxiang Baoquan

Day 1: Take the high-speed train from Beijing and arrive at Xinxiang East Station at 11:48. Book the bus ticket from Xinxiang Bus Station to Baoquan at 13:00 online in advance (17 yuan per person). It takes about 30 minutes to take a taxi to the bus station. Time is tight, so it is best to have lunch on the high-speed train. The bus takes 1.5 hours to reach Baoquan P2 parking lot. If you want to play in the afternoon, you can store your luggage at the visitor center and go directly to Yatianxia for half a day. The bus took 10 minutes to get to the cable car, and the large cable car cabin was truly astonishing (it could accommodate quite a few people). After getting off the cable car, you officially enter the cliff world. Because we stayed at Huangyangen B&B (the accommodation was introduced in the previous article), we chose to take a shuttle bus to the end of Yatianxia (the shuttle bus costs 20 yuan per person, and accommodation is free), put the luggage in the B&B, and check in at the door of the B&B first. I made an appointment for the cliff walk at 3-4 pm two weeks in advance and arrived in 2 minutes. A group of 10 people needs to wait in line. The China National Geographic check-in handheld check-in books will be distributed, so there is no need to rush. After putting on shoe covers, queue up, and after putting on safety gear, you can check in and take photos at the edge of the cliff. If you don’t have a reservation to walk on the cliff, you can go to the second-floor glass plank road, which is free and you can check in and take photos. The cliff swing is free. You just need to sign a life and death agreement and queue up. If you choose to sit outside, you can enjoy the view of Youlong Bay (don't close your eyes) Bungee jumping was also very exciting. We could only watch. There were lightweights (under 130 pounds) on one side and heavyweights (over 130 pounds) on the other side. Then I walked in the opposite direction along the wall-hanging corridor and went out for fun 🤣, marveling at the beautiful mountains and rivers of our motherland. I was amazed by the uncanny workmanship of nature. Finally we took the shuttle bus back to the B&B. The next day: If you didn’t get to play the games last night, you can play them as soon as you wake up. It takes only 3 minutes to walk out of the cliff and into the Grand Canyon. The second phase of Via Ferrata is right at the junction. I hesitated for a long time and didn’t try it (it was very windy), but the brave ones can challenge it. The shuttle bus + L-shaped elevator costs 30 yuan per person, and our B&B is free. We took the elevator down to the Grand Canyon. There were a lot of people going the opposite way with us during Qingming Festival😎 The Grand Canyon is a place for taking photos. After you get out of the elevator, turn left and you will go up the mountain. The mountain is very simple and at the end is the Jade Maiden Waterfall. The water in the entire mountain is very clear. It must be very comfortable to play in the water in the summer. My husband wanted to exercise, so he insisted on paddling the bamboo raft by himself. Young people who want to challenge themselves can go to Yatianxia. 3. If you want to play all the games, go from Yatianxia to the Grand Canyon. 4. There are a lot of people during holidays, so come if you don’t mind the traffic jam. 5. Wear short sleeves and a jacket 6. If you want to play exciting games, you must come in early, otherwise you will have to wait in line. 7. Those who want to challenge themselves and have good arm strength can try the first stage of via ferrata. Those who want to fly in the canyon can try the second stage of via ferrata.
