Benxi Huanren Longxiang Island Grand Hotel

We stayed one night on a small island in Huanren, Benxi this time, and it left a very deep impression on me. It can be said to be unforgettable. In fact, this small island is just a hotel, and the island only has this one hotel, which shows how small the island really is—truly a tiny place. This hotel is called Longxiang Island Grand Hotel, which I accidentally discovered a few months ago while searching for accommodation in Huanren. Everyone who has stayed there describes it as a kind of paradise, which piqued my interest. Longxiang Island Grand Hotel is located in the Hugu Gorge Scenic Area of Huanren, Benxi, surrounded by Huilong Lake. The island is covered with lush green grass, and the buildings are made of wood and stone, very distinctive, scattered neatly across the lawn. That day, we spent several hours exploring Hugu Gorge and felt a bit tired. Returning to the dock, we took the hotel’s boat back to the island. As soon as we arrived, we felt the leisurely and quiet atmosphere. The afternoon sun was just right, and except for the staff, there were almost no other guests. Rows of houses with wooden corridors stood quietly on the green grass. The downside of this hotel is that the room facilities are somewhat outdated and not particularly clean, probably because there aren’t many guests and labor costs can’t be invested too much. But this doesn’t affect my fondness for the hotel because of the environment and the vibe. That afternoon, after dropping off our luggage and a brief rest, we immediately ran to the lawn to take photos. The afternoon light shining on the grass reflected a dreamy beauty. Over the next day and night, the three of us explored every corner of this small island at dawn, morning, and night, experiencing the beauty at different times. In the early morning, mist spread among the mountains, like being in a fairyland; in the morning, the sun was bright, with blue skies and white clouds complementing the lush green grass; at night, the island was as quiet as the countryside. Walking along the lakeside, we were careful not to step on the toads sitting in the middle of the path. Unfortunately, the three of us were so excited that day we forgot to look up at the stars, which are said to be very beautiful there! In the morning, we went back to the lawn, the swing, and the corridor to take photos of our daughter, who looked graceful and photogenic. As the sun grew stronger, we returned to the room, brewed some tea, and enjoyed the view outside through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The front of the house has floor-to-ceiling windows and the back has glass doors, so you can see the most beautiful scenery up close from both sides. At that moment, a gentle breeze blew, cicadas chirped, everything was green, and my heart felt incredibly calm and comfortable. It’s also worth mentioning the hotel’s restaurant. Although it’s the only place to eat, the prices are not expensive at all, and the food tastes great. The chef’s skills can rival those of a star-rated hotel. In short, the day at Longxiang Island Grand Hotel felt wonderful, and I’m considering whether to stay another night during the National Day holiday to enjoy the autumn scenery.
