#mytraveldiary Visiting Qixingtan Beach has been on my Taiwan bucket list for a while, and finally getting here felt like discovering a secret slice of calm. We went on a weekday with cloudy skies and a cool breeze that carried the fresh scent of the sea. There were a few people around, but the beach never felt crowded—just peaceful, open space with the constant, soothing sound of waves. The kids were totally focused, trying to stack pebbles as tall as they could—laughing every time their towers toppled and eagerly building them up again. As for me, I honestly could’ve spent the entire day just sitting there, listening to the waves and letting time slow down. It’s a kind of peacefulness that’s rare to find, and Qixingtan gave it to me in spades.
