It is said to be the first place of Manjusri Bodhisattva on the way to Mount Wutai. The temple was built during the Northern Wei Dynasty. There is a brick pagoda on the main peak called Huayan Temple Brick Pagoda, which is more than ten meters high, with seven eaves and eight corners, built during the Liao Dynasty. There is a stone cave in the north of the peak, with a stone statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva inside, 1.78 meters high, lifelike, sitting on a Sumeru seat.
