Hsinchu Zoo

The Hsinchu Zoo, officially established in 1936, is the oldest zoo in the country and one of the three public zoos in Taiwan. After the Second World War and the changes of the times, the fenced cages in the park in the past are no longer in line with the welfare of animals today, and even It was unable to provide tourists with a good visiting experience. After two years of closure for renovations, the Hsinchu Zoo was reborn and reopened with a new look in 2019.
