After the nearby sugarcane is harvested, it is transported here via "five-cent trucks" to be made into sugar. The "five-point train" responsible for transporting sugarcane is actually a narrow-gauge train with a track width of only half the international standard gauge. With a snail's pace of 5-10 kilometers per hour, it is known as the slowest train in the world. Now, tourists can spend NT100 to transform themselves into "white sugarcane" and slowly walk through the woods towards the sugar factory! The one-way trip takes about 20 minutes. The train will stop at the terminal for a few minutes to complete the turn and then let passengers get on the train for the return journey. The total round trip of the five-minute car experience is about 45 minutes.
