Cycling around China (Day 29 - Strolling through the ancient city of Qianyang)

September 12th, sunny, 97 km, number of steps: 20276 Pass by the hometown of General Su Yu and visit the memorial hall (free of charge). Today's destination is Qianyang Ancient City (free) Qianyang Ancient City is one of the best-preserved ancient cities from the Ming and Qing dynasties in the country. The famous line by poet Wang Changling, "If friends and relatives in Luoyang ask me, I will tell them that my heart is as pure as ice and as clear as a jade pot," was born here. Qianyang Ancient City is not big. I walked out of the hotel and along the river, passing Longwang Temple and Zhongzheng Gate, then went to the pedestrian street to buy dinner, and then walked back from the main gate, passing through the bluestone streets and alleys, admiring the Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings. Finally, we returned along the river and just happened to see the sunset.
