I haven’t been to Stanley for almost five years! Big changes! Murray House, Stanley Main Street, Stanley Promenade, Feels very relaxed and casual! Very good! It’s a nice day, looking towards Stanley Bay! Watch the sea and eat ice cream! Steal a half day of leisure! If possible next time, Blake Wharf, take a ferry to the outer islands to play all day! Take bus 6 or 6A from Admiralty to Stanley! The scenery along the way is great! Family hiking route recommendation: Wong Nai Chung Pass to Stanley👣 #平路 #sandstoneroad #Beautiful view #Parent-child good places recommendation #Reservoir Bay #Stanley I walked a fairly easy route with Natalie, starting at Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Garden 👀 Enjoy the arc dam first, go down the stairs at the end, walk a few steps and you will see the sign for the Violet Trail. 👣All the way along the canal, the road conditions were ideal, the concrete road, and the shade of trees, quite comfortable to walk! In the middle you will pass some mountain streams and catchments. Be careful as there are no handrails on either side. After about 50 minutes of walking (Natalie’s foot), the view suddenly became open🤩, without the trees blocking the scenery! Of course you have to check in now📸 Looking at the beach of Repulse Bay from a distance, the trees on the beach are very neat, no one is playing there, no one is swimming or playing in the water, it feels very deserted. . . The mountain road after that started to be less well-traveled, with more sand and gravel, and the roads were not so flat; however, this section had a fence to make it safer to walk! The walk to the Violet Trail will eventually connect to the steps of the Wai Yi Sin Trail. We walked down the stairs towards Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir. After going down the stairs you will see a stone bridge (Zigang Bridge), across the bridge is Zigong Hill, have to Stanley, but it is more difficult ~ We walked along the Stanley West Canal. . . . Originally planned to walk all the way to Stanley, but! ! ! ! After walking for a while, the police said the road was closed, bombs were found around Mount Zigong, we had to climb the mountain to search🥶 We had to walk down the stairs next to the Stanley West Canal and take the bus to Stanley🚌 (if you didn't take the bus, you should have to walk about 45 minutes)! The whole journey took about two hours, not too tiring; when you get to Stanley, you can also go to the seaside to take a picture - go to Merrill House for a meal - another day of relaxation 😌 💡 - Although this section of the road is easy to walk, there are no fences in many places and it is not recommended for children who are too young - There is a section in the middle that is more bumpy and uneven, so I can't push the stroller - It's no problem to walk in the hot summer, there are shade trees in many places along the way🌲 #hiking
