This week, I stayed at a hotel in Causeway Bay and had dinner at Hysan House. 📍Location: Exit F of Causeway Bay MTR Station, walk straight to the elevator lobby on the 8th floor. Go up one floor to the 9th floor and take the elevator to the 13th floor, right next to the sushi restaurant. 🏠Environment: Smaller than the Central branch, located in a corner of the mall, with an open-plan facade. There are booths near the windows, a round table for two, and a long table for eight. The seating is densely packed, the lighting is low, and the decor is modern. 🤵🏻Service: Staff referral membership offers. Apply for membership with a minimum spend of $680, which gives you 10% off dining, points you can redeem for prizes, and a small gift is delivered instantly. ❣️ 🍽️Dinner: They offer a Dinner Special for $228, which includes a five-course appetizer, side dish, main course, dessert, and drink. It's quite generous and affordable. 🍴Soup of the Day: 🥔Potato and Spicy Sausage Soup🥣 This is a smooth, creamy potato soup with a sweet, refreshing taste, not at all spicy. 🍴Side dish: Homemade fries with potato chips🥔 A bowl of square potato chips, delicious and crispy. Main: 🥩 10oz Angus Tenderloin with Homemade Mash Potato🥔 Gravy Medium-Well 🍴10oz Angus Tenderloin with Homemade Mash Potato🥔 and gravy $228 + $60 (additional) I ordered it medium-rare, and it was perfectly cooked😘. Cutting into it revealed the pink red meat in the center, which was tender and completely sinewy😋. The potato chips🥔 side dish were even better😍, smooth and succulent yet retaining their texture. My friends couldn't stop praising it👍🏻. 🍴Dessert: 🧇Waffle with Ice-Cream Vanilla Ice 🍓Strawberry and Rhubarb Waffles🧇with your choice of ice cream🍨 The ice cream is available in chocolate🍫 or vanilla flavor. The waffles are excellent👍🏻, with a soft and chewy texture that pairs perfectly with ice cream. I've actually eaten at the Central branch before and had a truly unforgettable experience 🤩. The quality remains the same. I personally think it's a must-try signature dish and never disappoints 😉.
