🇭🇰 Big Buddha

This Big Buddha of Lantau Island is a popular attraction for tourists and a place of worship too. It is a large bronze statue and the Po Lin Monastery is at the bottom of the climb. This climb is a staircase which has 268 steps to complete before reaching the top. I was lucky to have witness a monk who was praying and climbing his way up the stairs. He was kneeling and bowing every few steps. You can do the climb and take a photo with the Big Buddha.
