Hong Kong Trail Section 1 The Peak

Getting There - from Central MTR station go to the bus exchange and take any of the buses that say they go to the Peak. I think I took 15. but you can see in English which ones go up. Take it all the way to the Peak. I had a little trouble finding the start because it looks like it’s going into a private property but shortly you see the sign on the right. Leaving the bus depot just take a right and follow it straight and you’ll be fine. Attractions - the views are absolutely stunning and it’s a fairly easy trail compared to the other sections. there is a lot of shade so the sunny hot days are not a problem. If you want to look around the Peak before you start hiking, there are some nice restaurant and shopping and the Wax Museum. I waited out a spot of rain at pacific coffee overlooking the mountains and it was peaceful. #gooutside #trails #trailtothepeak #trailrun
