❃This month we chose the Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong Island for our staycation. The most attractive part of this trip was the newly built children's playroom. The children's playroom is one of the hotel rooms. It is not too big, but the toys in the playroom are rich and colorful, and the children have a lot of fun playing. Enjoy the wooden kitchen corner with lots of wooden cooking toys. The girls had a lot of fun playing with them. ❃The only drawback is that the afternoon tea in the executive lounge came too hastily, and the time for enjoying it was even less than an hour. Because the check-in time does not coincide with the afternoon tea time. Afternoon tea includes Tandao egg tarts and a fusion of Chinese and Western milk tea. ❃There are not many food options during cocktail hour in the executive lounge. But there are a variety of different wines and cocktails available, enjoy their special cocktails. ❃The room is a newly renovated open-sun room with a semi-sea view. It is equipped with various advanced equipment, including the latest TV and stereo. Personally, I like to have Bluetooth paired speakers in the bathroom so I can listen to music and enjoy it. ❃ We chose in room dining, lobster bar. Although it was full that night, we had to order lobster soup. My sister chose mushroom soup which was also delicious. The breakfast is very rich, with international styles, and there is also Hawaiian milk tea. Fresh bread and egg tarts are not common choices in hotels. ❃ Overall, the room and facilities are the best, except that the arrangement of afternoon tea can be slightly improved.
