Lamma Island, this natural haven, offered me a moment of tranquility and relaxation amidst the hustle and bustle of city life. As I boarded the ferry from Central, my mood gradually eased as the ship receded from the city's noise. Disembarking, the refreshing sea breeze and the soothing sound of the waves greeted me, making me eager to explore the island. I was captivated by the scenery before me; the azure waters and golden beaches created a beautiful picture. I chose to walk along the seaside path, embarking on a tour around the island. Along the way, the occasional greetings and smiles from locals and tourists made me feel the warm and friendly atmosphere. The villages on Lamma Island retain their traditional way of life; fishermen still make their living by fishing, and every corner of the villages exudes a tranquil rhythm of life. Upon arriving at Yung Shue Wan, I was immediately drawn to the island's renowned seafood. I chose a restaurant near the sea and ordered a plate of fresh shrimp and steamed fish. The delicious seafood, combined with the gentle breeze and the sound of the waves, made this lunch a highlight of my trip. After lunch, I decided to challenge myself with the walking trails on Lamma Island. Along the way, I admired the spectacular coastline and enchanting vegetation, filled with awe and gratitude for nature. Reaching the lighthouse and looking down at the surrounding beauty, I felt incredibly fulfilled and happy. As dusk fell, I reluctantly boarded the ferry back. The sunset painted the sky crimson, and the sea shimmered—a scene etched deeply in my memory.
