Start with a light trek to Lamma Island - The hometown of actor Chow Yun-fat An island with picturesque, colorful fishing boats 👉 Getting there : From Central Passenger Terminal Pier 4, take the ferry to Yung Shui Wan. After arriving, trek from Hong Shing Yeh Beach to Lamma Island Lookout and then Sok Kwu Wan Harbour. · Course 2. Stargazing, Victoria Peak - A panoramic view of Victoria Harbour between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon 👉 Getting there : From Central MRT Station Take the Peak Tram or bus to The Peak Tower. · Course 3. Kam Shan, the Mountain Where Baby Monkeys Play - Hong Kong monkeys welcome you as soon as you get off the bus. 👉 Getting There : From Sham Shui Po or Prince Edward MRT Station, take bus 72 or 81 and get off at the 'Shek Lai Pui Reservoir' stop. · Course 4. Clicking on each theme will reveal the course's difficulty, duration, and directions, making it easy to plan your trek. · Start early in the morning and finish before 4 PM. - Trekking should be the first thing you do for the day. Because you'll be further away from tourist attractions as you go further up the mountain, English communication is often limited, and public transportation may be infrequent. Enjoy your hike and then plan your next activity. · Use Citymapper or Citybus apps rather than Google Maps. - You'll primarily be using buses to get to the starting point of your trek. Citymapper and Citybus are better than Google Maps because they display the bus's real-time location better and the bus stop names are consistent, making it easier to know when to get off.
