However, it is not well known that Victoria Peak is a place where you can enjoy light trekking, like Namsan in Korea. The Lugard Road Observation Deck, where you can see the sea dividing Hong Kong Island and Kowloon Peninsula, Victoria Harbor at a glance, can be reached in just 20-30 minutes one way from the Peak Tower. If you walk straight from the observatory without turning back, you will go on the Peak Trail trek, which circles the mountaintop and returns to the Peak Tower. It is an attractive course where you can enjoy the scent of the deep forest and the wonderful view of Hong Kong and solve the difficult uphill climb with public transportation and the Peak Tram. When you come down, you can take the Peak Tram, bus, or taxi, but you can also walk down to Kennedy Town and Hong Kong University. This is a path that locals often use to exercise, and sometimes you can see baby pigs, but people and pigs keep their distance and don't pay much attention to each other.
