Taiwanese and Hong Kong-style hot pot with unlimited meat and seafood recommendations

It's been a while since I had hot pot 😣, so I immediately made plans with friends to visit "Shan Jian" for lunch this weekend 😉. This time, the theme is "Hong Kong Nostalgia" 🇭🇰, allowing us to experience Hong Kong-style soup bases and snacks all at once 😍. For the dual-flavor hot pot 🍲, we chose the Coriander Century Egg Pork Bone Broth 🦴 and Coconut Chicken Soup 🥥. The former had plenty of century eggs 😬, while the latter had a slightly mild coconut flavor 🥲. The Australian Wagyu Chuck Eye Roll was rich in flavor and had a nice chewiness 🤤. The boneless short ribs were more marbled and tender 👍🏻. The whole prawn was incredibly fresh 🦐 with a bouncy texture 😗. Although the whole abalone was small 🐚, it was sweet, fresh, and firm 😋. The crispy fish roe shrimp rolls were crunchy 😝, and the black tripe was delightfully chewy 🐮. The Shan Jian seafood pancake had a slightly crispy outer layer 😆, with scallops and small oysters inside 🦪. They also served street-style grid waffles 🧇. A unique offering was the kale and spinach dumplings 🥟, which were filled with sweet and fresh ingredients 😛, though the skin was a bit too thick 🥺.
