Central Market: Miniature Art Exhibition

🏡80 Des Voeux Road Central, Central, Hong Kong 🌈Reconstructing the Past and Present · Building the Future with Intelligence | Miniature Art Exhibition 📅2 June ‑ 16 July 2022 This exhibition is the largest miniature art exhibition in Hong Kong’s history. The exhibition invites local miniature artists to combine technology, AR technology, computer sculpture and animation to exhibit a total of 100 miniature works that bring together the iconic buildings and cultures of the past and present in the 18 districts. Two years ago, I saw a miniature exhibition of Hong Kong's cityscape at "TX Huaihai" in Shanghai. Some of the exhibits in this miniature art exhibition are similar, but the content is richer. There are many historical buildings at the exhibition site, including the Blue House, Nan Basin College, etc. Some no longer exist or have become private spaces, such as the old Wan Chai Market with Bauhaus architectural style. The one I miss the most is the King's Theatre in North Point. I wanted to go in and take a look earlier, but unfortunately bamboo scaffolding has been erected around it and is ready to be demolished. #localtourism #2022exhibition
