A refreshing lunch in Wan Chai to cool down and indulge in the sweet world of tomatoes

It's been a while since I last dined at Tangram. Their menu changes frequently, and each visit is always fresh and new. Today, we had a seasonal lunch, and the main course selection was diverse, making the entire lunch set quite filling. No wonder it's always packed. Appetizers 🔸Heritage Tomatoes | Spanish Cucumber Gelato Both appetizers were refreshing. The first was quite delicate, with the different-colored tomatoes resembling blossoms, refreshing and sweet, topped with a soft watermelon jelly. Served with croutons and a salty sauce, it was a great appetizer. The Spanish Cucumber Gelato was vibrant and tart, with the added crunch of cucumber. I loved the flavor; it immediately cooled me down and whetted my appetite. 🔸Brittany Mussels If you're looking for a more filling meal, add the mussels. The serving size is generous, filling, and full of flavor. Drizzled with a buttery white wine sauce, the creamy texture is irresistible. Main Course 🔸Roasted Beef Tenderloin | Mushroom Rolls The beef tenderloin was seared to perfection, with a rich, beefy flavor and juicy texture. The black pepper sauce wasn't overpowering, just the right amount of seasoning. The thick fries were a delight! ☺ The mushroom rolls were beautifully presented, and we added black truffles for a richer flavor and a more gorgeous presentation! The rolls were incredibly creamy and decadent, with plenty of cheese inside and out. Even though there were only four rolls, one was enough to fill you up. If you're not pressed for time, we recommend ordering the Earl Grey Caramel Egg. This dessert has a distinct Earl Grey flavor, and the caramel and egg blend beautifully, creating a sweet yet non-cloying experience.
