You must try the Spectrum of the Seas at least once!! This is the itinerary from 9/5 to 9/10, finally writing about it after such a long delay 😜. It was a total of 6 days and 5 nights👌 🛳️ Boarding Process The security check wasn’t too troublesome. Follow the queue to check in your luggage, then follow the instructions to take photos, go through customs, and pass security. The whole process took about 40 minutes🛂. Before boarding, there’s a duty-free shop where you can buy alcohol if you want to bring some onboard, including red and white wine. 🍽️ Settling In and First Meal After boarding, you can grab a bite to eat first. If not, you can set up Wi-Fi or book any activities you haven’t reserved yet. Luggage will be delivered to your room around 3–4 PM. The whole process is quite hassle-free👌. Once you’re settled, you can officially start enjoying your trip✌🏻. 🎯 Onboard Activities We booked almost every activity available on the ship to maximize the experience! If you don’t participate in activities or your companions aren’t very enthusiastic, the trip might feel a bit dull. But for the four of us, even 24 hours a day didn’t feel like enough time to play 🥳. The main dining room’s food was decent, but we highly recommend the teppanyaki and Sichuan cuisine!! 🌏 Shore Excursions During the two days off the ship, we explored Fukuoka on our own and upgraded to a premium tour in Busan. Almost all expenses could be handled with a Visa card, which was super convenient! 📦 Must-Bring Items Tips • Portable shower filter 🚿 (the water quality on the ship is average) • Flip-flops 🩴 Other items are optional and not a big deal if you don’t bring them. You don’t need to bring too many drinks either, as you can buy plenty of delicious food and drinks at convenience stores in Japan and South Korea during the shore excursions.
