Every autumn and winter (approximately from early December to mid-February), the sweetgum trees and deciduous trees along the lakeside and trails transform into vibrant shades of golden and orange-red, creating a vibrant autumn landscape against the vast reservoir and distant mountains. It's a perfect spot for hiking and photography enthusiasts.
