Temple Street Dim Sum Restaurant

A new dim sum restaurant has recently opened in Jordan, catering mainly to locals. It was quite busy when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. The prices are reasonable, with tea costing only $7 per person! Most dim sum dishes range from around $10 to $30. You can order shrimp dumplings and siu mai in portions of two or four pieces per basket, making it perfect for two people to enjoy tea together without over-ordering! The dim sum arrives at the table piping hot. We ordered a variety of dishes: fresh shrimp and vegetable dumplings, dace fish balls, fried rice noodle rolls with scallions, pan-fried stuffed chili peppers, braised stuffed eggplant, spicy wontons in red oil, and garlic cucumber salad. The dumplings are well-made with generous fillings. The shrimp inside the vegetable dumplings is delightfully bouncy! The stuffed chili peppers pack a spicy punch, while the stuffed eggplant is loaded with fish filling and tastes great! The spicy wontons in garlic chili sauce are incredibly flavorful!
