Shek O Country Park

#hkonbudget Shek O is a perfect mix of coastal beauty and adventure. The Dragon’s Back trail runs right through it, offering some of the best sea views in all of Hong Kong. I loved how the path wasn’t too difficult, making it accessible even for casual hikers like me. At the end, you can relax at Shek O beach or even head to the village for cheap eats. The views of the South China Sea are breathtaking and constantly changing with the light. What’s amazing is that this whole experience is free—just hop on a bus and you’re there. For me, Shek O was the perfect day trip that blended hiking, sea, and small-town vibes without costing much at all.
