I ascended the 268 steps, each one feeling like a cleansing of worldly distractions. Sunlight pierced through the clouds, illuminating the bronze Buddha with a solemn yet compassionate aura, as if whispering: Let go, and you will find freedom. Entering the Po Lin Monastery, the air was filled with the fragrance of incense and the distant sound of bells. A single stick of incense, a single moment of devotion, carrying the hope that all wishes may be fulfilled. By the lotus pond, a gentle breeze swept away worries and brought a fleeting sense of tranquility. Here, time seemed to slow down. Not to escape the noise of the world, but to rediscover oneself.
