Disney 20th Anniversary Affordable Buffet Lunch Recommendation @ Crystal Lotus

Crystal Lotus Restaurant (Lantau Island) 📍 1st Floor, Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Lantau Island The weather is really hot, but I still want to meet Disney friends. The hotel buffet is a must, so I booked online to enjoy a 10% discount and try the buffet lunch. On holidays, it’s even available from 12 PM to 3 PM. During this time, Disney characters come in to take photos and greet you, which both adults and kids love. I personally like seafood. On that holiday, they offered plump and sweet snow crab legs, which is rare and very high quality! Almost every table had a big pile, so you know it’s delicious and worth it. The seafood also includes soy-marinated abalone, conch, mussels, and large prawns, plus the rare mantis shrimp. However, the mantis shrimp doesn’t have much flavor. The Japanese-Korean theme features beef rib soup, oden 🍢, seolleongtang, bibimbap, and surprisingly even Korean fried chicken. They also offer some Korean desserts like red bean cake. For sashimi, there’s octopus, shrimp, and salmon. The sweet shrimp is very soft and chewy, perfect for multiple servings. Coinciding with Disney’s 20th anniversary celebration, the desserts have special decorations, including various cheesecakes and mousse cakes with Disney character patterns for a lucky draw. There’s also a large selection of fresh fruits, all very sweet and refreshing. The highlight is the chocolate fountain ⛲️. Drinks include unlimited iced white peach oolong tea, lemon tea, coffee, and orange juice, which is really a great deal. Mickey and Pluto will visit each table for photos during these three hours, so there’s definitely enough time to take pictures with the characters.
