Got up early and left Macau to cross the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, then took the A33X bus to "Tuen Mun Town Centre," transferred to minibus 43/43S to "So Kwun Wat Village," only then can the real hiking begin 😴😵 There are different route options for Thousand Island Lake, since it was our first time challenging it, we chose the beginner route. After getting off, you’ll see a very clear sign for the Thousand Island Lake viewing platform next to the Tin Hau Temple. Follow Section 10 of the MacLehose Trail, up and down hills along the way, including rest and photo breaks, finished within three hours ✔️ The path is simple, signs are clear, not many or steep slopes, very comfortable 🤗 Highly recommend beginners take this route 👍🏻👍🏻
