This time, my friend and I came to Pici located in Soho, Central. This restaurant is fantastic, featuring different Monthly Specials themes every month. The theme for July is a seafood feast, so if you love seafood, you definitely can't miss it. The decor has a strong European vibe, vintage yet elegant, creating a great atmosphere, and the seating is spacious and comfortable. - First, we had the mussel and potato Italian dumplings. This dish comes with a rich tomato sauce, and the Italian dumplings are packed with filling, giving a great texture in every bite. Then we had the crispy fried squid tubes. The squid tubes were plump, clearly filled with plenty of stuffing inside, and had a great chewy texture—really impressive. - Additionally, we ordered the herb tomato sauce mussels. The mussels were plentiful and very fresh, and the flavor was delicious. The herb tomato sauce was super flavorful; I never expected this sauce to pair so well with mussels. Next up was the sea urchin sauce eel tagliatelle I had been looking forward to for a long time. The sea urchin sauce was rich and intense, and every strand of tagliatelle was coated with sauce, making it more and more appetizing as you eat. The eel was also fresh, sweet, and succulent—definitely not to be missed. - For dessert, we chose the lemon tiramisu and Italian red berry panna cotta. The tiramisu was creamy with a fresh taste.
