When I found out this Sai Ying Pun cafe offers two kinds of Dubai chocolate desserts and drinks, I immediately arranged to dine with friends. We ate the main course before the dessert. It turns out they offer a great value lunch set on weekends! For just over a hundred dollars, you get an appetizer, main course, and drink. The soup of the day was a creamy bacon soup. The spicy cod roe prawn wavy handmade pasta 🍝 had a chewy texture and was fully coated with pesto and spicy cod roe. The pasta included about 4-5 plump, crunchy shrimp 🍤 and several cherry tomatoes. The portion of pasta was quite generous. The Dubai chocolate croffle was beautifully plated. The biggest surprise was the server spraying gold powder in front of us! The chocolate 🍫 ice cream was rich but not too sweet. The pistachio-flavored crunchy bits made the overall texture even more delightful. The Dubai pistachio Basque cake was served half-cooked. The center was molten and smooth in texture. The cake was topped with plenty of crunchy pistachio pieces. It was also served with silky cream. The Dubai chocolate mocha had an adorable latte art! It was Chiikawa’s bunny! The rim of the cup was decorated with decadent chocolate sauce and pistachio bits.
