Featured Hong Kong Nostalgic Calendar Photo Wall

This time I went to Jordan's Heung Kong Flower Moon Retro-themed Hotpot Restaurant, and it turns out they recently added a Hong Kong nostalgic calendar photo wall 📆 You can even tear off the calendar pages to order dishes, which is creative and great for photos 😍 Besides the calendar, the restaurant has many corners filled with retro Hong Kong elements, such as the nostalgic phone behind the seats, the hand-pulled cart used in old Hong Kong, posters in the restroom corridor, and more, all full of Hong Kong flavor 🤣 We ordered the nourishing beauty fish maw chicken hotpot. Once the broth boiled, we couldn’t wait to drink two bowls of soup, which was clear, sweet, and slightly gelatinous 😋 The broth also had half a chicken, and after boiling for a while, the staff helped us cut it into pieces. The chicken was just right, not tough, and the meat was very tender 💯 For ingredients, we ordered Australian lamb, which had a gamey flavor and a good chew. We also loved the colorful dumplings 🥟 because we could try different flavors at once. The fillings were full, and my favorite was the textured luncheon meat and corn dumpling 🌽 IOU three-color paste 🤣 which actually included handmade fresh shrimp paste, crab roe cuttlefish paste, and beef paste, all very bouncy and chewy 👍🏻 Special drinks have a buy 3 get 1 free 🈹 I ordered a Flower City, a rose mango ice drink with a delicate presentation. It’s matcha-based, with elderflower and green apple juice 🍏 The taste was great, with a strong fruity and floral aroma 🌸 For dessert, there was a limited-time gourd shop ginger milk pudding. The gourd shop is a popular ginger milk pudding specialty store in Kwun Tong. I wanted to go before but didn’t expect to find it here, so I immediately ordered it to try.
