Tsim Sha Tsui Seasonal Japanese Feast

Arriving at Arashiyama in Tsim Sha Tsui, even on a regular weekday evening, the place is packed. We ordered their two-person set meal for $899/2 people. The set includes appetizers, snacks, sushi, sashimi, main dishes, and dessert, all showcasing a meticulous selection of ingredients and very generous portions. 🥗 Appetizers The "Three Kinds of Pickles" feature three seasonal pickles, perfectly marinated—not too sour; there’s also a "Seasonal Salad" made with fresh lettuce, corn, tomatoes, and tossed in a tangy vinegar dressing, making it refreshing and appetizing. 🐟 Four Kinds of Sashimi The sashimi is extremely fresh. The fatty tuna is rich and melts in your mouth; the sweet shrimp is fresh and tender. There’s also thick-cut amberjack and salmon, all plump, rich, and sweet. 🍣 Sushi Platter The sushi variety is abundant, including crisp and sweet deep-sea fish, delicate and tender sea bream, thick and juicy scallops, smooth and sweet sea urchin, as well as lean tuna and creamy fatty tuna rolls. Their vinegared rice is made with red vinegar, adding extra flavor. 🍗 Snacks There are two snacks: "Mountain Bandit Sauce Grilled Angus Beef Skewers," with tender meat and rich beef flavor, and "Karaage Satsuma Chicken Wings," with crispy skin and juicy meat. 🍲 Main Dishes The "Hiroshima Oyster Miso Hot Pot" contains large, plump oysters, full and rich in flavor. The miso broth is fragrant and thick, with mushrooms, vegetables, tofu, and other ingredients, making it very hearty. Besides the hot pot, there’s also "Black Curry Soup with Pork Cartilage and Inaniwa Udon." The black curry soup is spicy and rich, very flavorful; the pork cartilage is tender, and the udon is chewy.
