"Great Value Peking Duck in Tai Kok Tsui"

After work on a rainy day, I really didn’t feel like cooking. I noticed that the usually crowded Lao Zhang Gui Northeast Cuisine restaurant at the entrance had no long line, so I went straight in for dinner! The service was efficient, and the dishes arrived quickly! Half a Peking duck, each piece thick with meat, the duck skin crispy and fragrant, the pancakes smoky and chewy, wrapped with condiments and a bit of duck sauce—so delicious! But the portion was really large; we couldn’t finish it and had to pack the leftovers! We ordered Sichuan Dan Dan noodles because we didn’t want rice. The noodles were not only large in portion, but the broth was also rich, with a strong peanut aroma and a mild spiciness—very flavorful! For the squirrel fish, we chose sole fillet. When it arrived, I was stunned by the huge size—definitely great value! The meat was tender and smooth, paired with the sweet and sour sauce, very appetizing and fragrant! Wow, such a high-definition dish. We saved room for the red bean paste cream puff, which was really outstanding. The red bean paste wasn’t too sweet, and the puff had a strong cream puff texture. Served hot, it was truly delicious! At this Lao Zhang Gui, two people ordered three dishes and left with full bellies.
