Hong Kong is a world-renowned tourist and vacation city, attracting thousands of visitors every day. It is very suitable for family trips with children. This time, I want to recommend a luxury family hotel in Hong Kong: Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel. For this three-day family trip to Hong Kong, I bought a two-day Hong Kong Disneyland ticket and carefully picked this SkyCity Marriott. Highly recommended! Here are the reasons: There is a free shuttle bus to and from the airport every half hour, taking less than ten minutes to get to the airport. This saves the cost of the Airport Express ticket (which is quite expensive, around seventy to eighty HKD one way). It is close to Disneyland, just two subway stops away (about twenty minutes with a transfer), and there is a shuttle bus to Tung Chung MTR station, which takes about ten minutes and runs every half hour. The hotel price is cheaper than staying directly in Tung Chung, but the convenience is comparable. Small tip: During peak season, the shuttle bus may have queues and might not fit everyone in one trip, so avoid rushing to catch it at the last minute. The room size is especially large, far better than the typical 0.9m single bed hotels in the city! Moreover, the room has a table, chairs, and a small sofa, with enough space to spread out several suitcases. The bathroom is also spacious, and the overall area is comparable to hotels in mainland China. Very suitable for a family of three. The view is nice. I booked the basic room type, and the front desk said it was fully booked and could not upgrade to a sea view. But unexpectedly, there was still a sea view, although partially obstructed, it can be considered a sea view room. This view is much better than looking at the concrete jungle in the city. The soundproofing is good; you cannot hear any airplane noise at all.
