On May 7, the newly revamped Cathay Pacific "The Wing" lounge made its grand debut, and as an aviation enthusiast, I rushed to check it out immediately! Conveniently located near Gate 35 in Hong Kong International Airport's Terminal 1, it's easily accessible by foot or the airport train. The moment you step inside, the warm wood-toned decor instantly soothes your travel fatigue, creating an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. For food lovers, this place is heaven! The must-try Chinese noodle station offers Biangbiang noodles with a perfect texture, though the chili oil could use a bit more kick. The dan dan noodles, made with bamboo pole noodles, are a creative twist, with rich sauce coating every strand—absolutely irresistible! But the real standout for me was the wonton noodles: the bamboo pole noodles were silky smooth, the wontons were fresh and bouncy, and the broth was so flavorful I wanted to drink it all! Over in the international dining section, you'll find exquisite Western desserts, Provençal stew, champagne, and specialty coffee, all adding a touch of sophistication. ☕️ The revamped "The Wing" lounge is flawless in both ambiance and cuisine.
