Tonight, after my husband finishes work, I plan to take him out for a nice meal. I found a café near Yau Ma Tei that serves Western cuisine. I saw online that its interior design is quite trendy and has a unique style, making it a perfect spot for taking photos. So, I decided to bring my husband here for dinner. I ordered the black truffle wild mushroom pasta 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷. The pasta here is cooked al dente, which I love because I’m always worried about overcooked pasta being too mushy. The black truffle sauce is perfectly coated on the pasta, making it incredibly flavorful, and the mushrooms are sautéed to perfection—fragrant and juicy. We also got the slow-cooked pork (black pork skewers) with sweet potatoes 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷. The taste is somewhat reminiscent of Chinese sweet and sour pork, which is quite fun. It has a tangy and sweet sauce, and the meat is very juicy. The slow-cooking process really makes a difference. It’s paired with a balsamic vinegar salad that’s refreshing, and the sweet potato fries are generously portioned. Additionally, I ordered a snack: American-style sweet and spicy crispy chicken wings (4 pieces) 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷. The sweet and spicy sauce complements the crispy, juicy chicken wings perfectly. It also comes with a balsamic vinegar salad, which balances the flavors nicely. The environment here is very relaxing, designed to resemble a jungle animal restaurant. It’s a great place to unwind after work.
