Boston & Hong Kong Airport Lounge Review!

This time, I had a 6-hour layover while flying back home from Boston and decided to explore all the bank lounges at both airports! Each lounge has its own unique features—here’s my honest experience 👇 📸P1-2 Boston Chase Sapphire Lounge Wow, the moment you step in! The space is incredibly spacious and modern ✨ The food counter is loaded with hot dishes, cold platters, and a selection of red and white wines. Window-side seating offers a great view of planes taking off and landing. From the decor to the service, everything is top-notch—absolutely divine! 📸P3-5 Hong Kong Chase Sapphire Lounge Slightly smaller compared to Boston, but it wins with its Chinese hot dishes! Char siu rice and wonton noodles are perfect for Chinese taste buds 🍜 Cocktails need to be ordered at the bar, but the lounge isn’t crowded. Among lounges accessible with a Priority Pass, this is definitely a top choice. Unfortunately, it’s limited to one visit per year 😭 Luckily, I have the Lizi card! 📸P6-7 Amex Hong Kong Centurion Lounge Japanese-style char siu rice was so good I had two bowls! 🍚 However, since it caters to black card holders, the public area is relatively small and can feel crowded during peak times. The bartender-made cocktails are amazing 🍹 Perfect for those looking to enjoy a drink with friends. 📸P8-9 Kyra Lounge If you don’t have a Chase or Amex card, this is the one to go for! Quiet environment and attentive service, much more comfortable than Plaza Premium. Although the food options are limited, it’s clean and cozy. Great for a quick recharge during a layover. By the way, Plaza Premium Lounge at Gate 60 is the only option open at 5 AM when you land 🤣 The dim sum is clearly pre-made, but the service is super diligent. There are several Plaza Premium locations in Hong Kong—great for a quick bite if you’re in a rush! Summary: Boston Sapphire Lounge is unbeatable! In Hong Kong, it depends on your needs.
