Travel plan for Hong Kong with must-visit spots and amazing photo ops!!!

Hong Kong, a city full of charm blending old culture and the grandeur of towering skyscrapers stretching as far as the eye can see, is a place you should experience at least once in your life. For this trip, we traveled for just 3 days and 2 nights in December, when the weather is very pleasant, around just over 10 degrees Celsius. We flew with Hong Kong Airlines, arriving in the morning so we could start exploring right away. This time, we stayed near Mong Kok, which is very convenient—easy to find food, convenient MTR transportation, and close to great shopping spots. If you come to Hong Kong, we highly recommend staying in this area. Here are the check-in spots we listed for this trip. If you have a short plan, follow along! 1. Hong Kong Cultural Centre: A modern-shaped building with a unique design, one of the most popular Instagrammable spots for content creators, and it’s also close to Victoria Harbour. How to get there: MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit E, then walk towards Salisbury Road. 2. Victoria Harbour: A must-visit viewpoint in Hong Kong, offering a spectacular waterfront view of the Central district skyscrapers. At 8 PM, you can enjoy the Symphony of Lights show. From here, you can walk along the Avenue of Stars and end at the luxury mall K11 Musea. 3. Yick Fat Building: Famous as a filming location for the movie Transformers, it has a vibe similar to Klong Chan flats in Thailand but looks cool and raw in photos. There’s also a famous coffee shop called %Arabica under this building, a modern café that perfectly contrasts with the building’s rawness. How to get there: MTR Tai Koo Station, Exit B, turn left and walk a bit further. 4. Graham Street Mural: A trendy street with cool street art perfect for photo check-ins. If you’re around Central, don’t miss stopping by. How to get there: MTR Central Station, then search for Doubleshot coffee shop; the street is right next to it. 5. Blue Bottle Coffee: A coffee shop with a blue bottle logo, the Central branch is the first in Hong Kong and has two floors. The ground floor is for Grab & Go orders, while the second floor is a Slow Bar with seating. Coffee lovers must not miss this. 6. Repulse Bay: Another chill beach in Hong Kong with great vibes, giving a light Miami feel. It’s also home to a famous Guanyin Temple popular among Thai visitors. It’s a peaceful temple with a great atmosphere. How to get there: MTR Central Station, Exit A, then take bus numbers 6, 6A, 6X, 66, or 260 from the Bus Terminal to Repulse Bay Tower, about a 20-minute ride with beautiful views along the way. 7. Hung Hom Kwun Yum Temple: A Guanyin temple in Hung Hom popular among Thai people for worship and borrowing money from Guanyin. It’s very crowded on weekends, but the staff speak Thai and there are Thai instructions. It’s recommended to visit on weekdays and bring glasses and a mask because the temple is small and enclosed, so incense smoke is quite heavy. How to get there: MTR Hung Hom Station, Exit B1, then about a 10-minute walk. Although Hong Kong is a small island, it has many places to explore. It’s a city full of charm and contrasting cultures that blend perfectly. Wherever you walk, it feels like you’re in a Wong Kar-wai movie, and you can take photos endlessly.
