Exploring Hong Kong's Silvergrass Bloom: Sunset Peak

Sunset Peak is one of Hong Kong's most popular destinations for viewing silvergrass. Every autumn, the entire hillside is covered in golden silvergrass, creating a dreamy landscape. Starting Point: Ngong Ping To reach Sunset Peak, you can start from Ngong Ping and follow Section 3 of the Lantau Trail. Along the way, enjoy the magnificent mountain views and take a break at Pak Kung Au, a great spot for rest and replenishment. Then, continue your journey towards the summit of Sunset Peak. Although the trail is steep in some parts, the stunning scenery makes it worthwhile. You can choose to return via the same route or descend through Yi Tung Shan and South Lantau Country Park to explore more trails.
