My friend was buying airsoft gun accessories nearby when we passed by a dazzling golden signboard that really caught our eye👀. It turns out the restaurant is run by Thai people themselves, guaranteeing authenticity. No wonder the restaurant is called "Kim Mun Elephant Authentic Thai Cuisine." We decided to feast heartily with my friend. Thai-style Spicy and Sour Chicken Feet: In hot weather, nothing beats a tangy and spicy Thai salad. The sauce is sweet, sour, salty, and spicy, very appetizing. The boneless chicken feet are tender and smooth with a slightly chewy texture, definitely a great appetizer. Whole Grilled Squid🦑: Slightly charred with a fragrant aroma, the squid remains tender after grilling, naturally salty and fresh. Dipping it in Thai seafood sauce enhances the flavor! Thai Skewers (Beef): Perfectly grilled, both pork and beef are tender and juicy. The Thai grilled pork skewers have a chewy texture with an increasingly fragrant taste, full of mildly sour and spicy Thai flavors!! This slightly sour and fragrant flavor pairs well with a bit of satay sauce, which is rich in peanut butter aroma, contains peanut bits, has a roasted taste, and is crispy and delicious—very tasty. Thai Omelette with Phnom Penh Noodles: The Phnom Penh noodles have a great wok hei (wok breath) and are very fragrant. Topped with crunchy crushed peanuts and chili powder, it’s very flavorful👍. There are also plenty of dried tofu, bean sprouts, and springy large shrimp. The seasoning mainly uses tamarind sauce, tomato sauce, palm sugar, and fish sauce, creating a blend of sour, spicy, salty, and sweet that makes your mouth water. The flavor is slightly sweet, and the noodles are dry and elastic, not clumpy, with a nice chewy bite—quite good. Chendol: The coconut milk flavor is rich, made with pandan leaves and mung bean flour jelly, served with shaved ice, coconut milk, and palm sugar. The jelly is smooth, and the coconut milk is sweet and fragrant, very refreshing. Pomelo Ice Slush: A very unique flavor, great for cooling down. The ice slush is fine and smooth, with a sweet and sour pomelo taste, plus bits of pomelo flesh, very sincere and not too sweet! Desserts for Two: There is a small portion of mango sticky rice🍚, beautifully plated with perfectly ripe mangoes that are very sweet, paired with salty sticky rice, complementing each other. There is also longan jelly, which tastes refreshing with plenty of longan meat and is not too sweet! Coconut jelly🥥 is made from sweet coconut milk with lots of coconut meat, very comforting. Can't miss the coconut sago pudding, topped with rich coconut milk, filled with corn kernels for texture, and soft sticky rice—quite good.
