Ma On Shan MOS Town MOSTown Shopping Centre is hosting the "MOST-Venturous Panda Tour" from May 1 to May 31. The giant panda 🐼 is 10 meters long and 7 meters tall, with a plump and sturdy appearance yet full of dynamic posture, making it incredibly adorable. 😆🐼 Besides this giant inflatable panda, there are also 15 origami pandas, each 30 centimeters tall, hidden within scenes featuring iconic views of Hong Kong in the optical illusion art. This brings a lot of color to Ma On Shan MOSTown Shopping Centre. This work is created by the contemporary cross-media artist Zhao Bandai, known as the "Panda Man," together with renowned art critic and curator Du Xiyun. It’s been a long time since I last visited Ma On Shan, and today I happened to pass by MOSTown Shopping Centre, where this giant panda caught my eye 👀. It was such a delightful surprise. 😊 Although Ma On Shan doesn’t feel like a big mall and lacks a cluster of luxury brand stores, and has even been criticized as a food desert, this small mall frequently changes its decorations with very special and high-quality displays, never sloppy at all. Small but well-equipped, I personally feel that MOSTown Shopping Centre, connected to Ma On Shan Plaza, a cinema, bookstore, supermarket, Sasa, and more, has everything you need. On weekdays, the crowd is light, so you don’t have to squeeze with others. It’s actually more enjoyable to take your time. The carousel 🎠 at Ma On Shan Plaza is a bit quiet now because the kids are at school. (During after-school hours, it’s packed with people waiting for the carousel to start.)
