Opened in 2017, Disney Explorers Lodge is a themed hotel within the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, offering an exotic and adventurous experience. The hotel features a unique design inspired by the exploration era of the 1920s, built collaboratively by four adventurers: Mickey, Minnie, and their friends. It is divided into four themed areas—Asia, Oceania, Africa, and South America—with rooms and courtyards showcasing rare artifacts and exotic plants from each region. The lobby is spacious and atmospheric, with columns resembling palm trees and bamboo, chandeliers shaped like wildflowers, creating a tribal ambiance. The guest rooms are roomy and filled with cultural elements, featuring innovative designs like bedside lamps and mirror lights. The four courtyards are equally distinctive, such as the Little Hathi Courtyard named after "The Jungle Book," adorned with fountains and topiary animals. The hotel offers a variety of activities, including treasure hunts to discover 20 unique items in the hotel and courtyards, stamp collection for small gifts, hidden Mickey searches, pool parties at the Rain Drop Pool, and a kids' activity room called Nemo's Reef. There are also paid activities like eco-friendly bag-making workshops. Guests enjoy complimentary shuttle buses to and from the park, exclusive park entrance access to save queue time, and diverse dining options to cater to different tastes.
