Hong Kong｜A Place with a Sea of Sunflowers — Yuen Long Sunflower Garden

Who would have thought there’s a place in Hong Kong where you can see a vast field of sunflowers🌻? This place is called "Sunflower Garden," a local farm in Hong Kong. (We really need to support these rare local farms in Hong Kong.💛) Yuen Long Sunflower Garden (although it’s called Yuen Long, it’s actually near the Sheung Shui border) has different varieties of flowers blooming all year round. In summer, the sunflowers🌻 are definitely the crowd favorite. Every year, I go to Sunflower Garden to see the sunflowers🌻 (I personally like calling sunflowers this way😝). Before I knew about this place, I used to travel far to other cities just to see sunflowers🌻. Now I don’t have to travel so far anymore, which makes me super happy😊. (I hope those who also love sunflowers can avoid the long trips too.)🙈 Besides sunflowers, Sunflower Garden also grows many other varieties of flowers. The types of flowers change according to the season or climate. Before visiting, you can check the official website or Facebook page of Sunflower Garden for the announced flower varieties and blooming periods. (Of course, I personally think sometimes just going there directly can lead to discovering even more unexpected surprises.) At different times and festivals, Sunflower Garden regularly changes its photo spots. Take green minibus 75 "Yuen Long — Ha Wan Village" or 76 "Yuen Long — Siu Ham Village" and get off at "Shek Wu Wai Luen On Car Park." Take red minibus 17 "Yuen Long — Sheung Shui" and get off at "Shek Wu Wai Luen On Car Park."
